The Abandoned Kitten Became a "Minister"?
This is going to be a heavy topic.
What would you do if, for various unavoidable reasons, you had to leave your pet behind?
Not long ago, a special guest was found at a garbage sorting station in Russia.
A black-and-white cow-patterned kitten, looking utterly confused, not meowing or moving, almost as if it didn’t understand why it ended up in that place.
However, the truth is that this little kitten did not arrive at the garbage station through ordinary means.
While sorting through trash as usual, a worker named Mikhail noticed a peculiar trash bag. When he opened it, a pair of bright, curious eyes stared back at him.
At that moment, this unique trash bag and the kitten inside were only "one step away" from the garbage separator…
After the conveyor belt stopped, the kitten was promptly checked by a veterinarian. Thankfully, it was unharmed, which brought relief to those around.
What was heartbreaking, however, was that the kitten’s appearance suggested it was once a pet, abandoned by its owner…
From the description above, it’s easy to spot certain alarming terms: "tied up," "garbage bag," and "garbage separator." These words should not be associated with such an abandonment incident. In other words, if it weren’t for its good luck, the kitten’s fate wouldn’t have just been abandonment—it could have been much worse.
The local community took this matter seriously, especially as incidents like these are not new. Just recently, an African pygmy hedgehog with albinism was also found and rescued in the same way…
The local government appointed the abandoned cow-patterned kitten as the Deputy Minister of Nature and Circular Economy, responsible for managing the animal sector. Through this gesture, they hope to encourage more people to treat life with kindness and respect animals.
We often say that if you want to adopt a pet, you must be ready to take responsibility for its entire life. But if, due to objective reasons, you must find a new home for your pet, most people’s attitudes are understanding. Everyone faces difficult situations at times. If parting can be done amicably and finding a warm new home for a companion you once spent time with, it could be a good solution.
